Eagle Owl of the West Coast

We have been searching high and low to find this beautiful owl.  We have even placed an owl box in our garden in the hope of attracting one.  After many moons of searching we finally found one right under our noses. 

He has made his new home at the entrance of our local shopping mall, keeping visitors intrigued by its size and beauty.  There is no doubt he is keeping the local rat population in check if one goes by the amount of droppings found on the floor below the entrance of the mall.  It was a pleasure to photograph this movie star.
