Hohenort Wine Estate's Camphor Champion Trees

Exploring the 9,5 acre gardens of Hohenort Wine Estate, encompasses a vineyard, flower tunnels and secret walkways, an enchanted forest that’s home to South Africa’s second oldest camphor trees (which have been granted Champion tree status), and so much more. Not to mention the friendly resident ducks and chameleons.

Something for all ages to enjoy, take a leisurely stroll in utter scenic tranquility then unwind afterwards over freshly baked scones and tea.

Here’s another sneak peek of what to expect. (source : The Collection)

Sunrise in the Cederberg

My attempt to do a time-lapse of the sun rising was rather fun and successful, but here is one of the ones that was my favourite moment in the time-lapse sequence.  Look out for the video to be made soon which will feature the sunrise at Kromrivier Tourist Park.  This is one of the many hidden gems for the area.

Video Cape Town Storm Chasers having some family fun

We headed over to Cape Town CBD on 7 June 2017 to go and view the spectacular waves hitting the shores.  The wave swell was 11m during it's peak and the wind gusted over 50 knots.

Hope you enjoy our video footage of the storm in this post!
